I live in Colorado and today we had our first snow where I live. Yuck – I hate it when Winter comes so early. I am just not ready for the cold just yet. SO, I decided not to go to work today. I spent most of my time on the Internet today. The cold temperatures really make me want to move to Floria or Texas. The summers are hot and Winter is just nice. How about yourself? Could you stand the cold and snow in September?

September 21, 2009Weekly Update on Success
September 15, 2009Success. Ah, the sweet sound of words in my ears. Success is great to have, but it requires a lot of work. I am currently working 12-14 hours per day to have success. Still it is hard not to lose patience when the success is slow to arrive. So, I worked with a few guys here and there in regards to Success.
Bobby Wells has been a great help with proof reading my websites.
Jackie has given me ideas I will never forget.
Jose kicked my rear more than once to get me motivated again.
Peter – well, Peter always had beer and pizza. Can’t beat that I guess.
John is a good friend. Enough said.
So, no matter what you might be working on, it is always good to have some real friends. Cheers, guys.
Being a Professional writer
July 21, 2009It’s the heart need of every business man to make it to the top and be well known for what he does.
Similarly , the fantasy of pretty much all writers is to see his / her piece permanently put on the ‘wall’ and read by many .
The human instinct has an impulsion not to be happy with the present do you blame them? Each folks has an outright craving for the best in any opportunity. Tiny wonder Hellen Keller ( n.d ) declared that one can’t agree to creep when one has an impulse to swoop.
Get the audience attention with your subjects. Take care in your punctuations ; don’t break the standard punctuation rules and no periods after subjects. Language is a system of words, punctuations and tenses. Endeavour to use the right words to express your ideas. Pass your thoughts to the crowd unchanged. ‘ or’???’ : they never imply stress ; do not be mistaken.
Make the best mix of all of these to make great grammatical structures and fantastic piece. I would not know the yes and no’s of the writing company you’re employed with nor the specs of your present shopper. However, one thing is certain and helpful, follow them to the letters. Your superb writing skills give you an idiosyncrasy. Creative and vital thinking makes you stand out of the group. Being a professional writer can be a difficult career to choose. You write articles about articles and nothing happens. I recently became more active in writing and added some personal blogs and professional journals to my portfolio.
When writing a document for your bosses at work, it isn’t unusual to need to try and electrify. Sadly , the majority calibrate “impressive” at such stupid levels that they finish up turning over text that look and sound unusual, either using vocabulary that is out place or containing too many flowery words.
Are you a pen holder that transforms thoughts into write-ups or you belong to the voiceless clique that cries out with letters? It isn’t strange you have attempted some futile efforts at the ladder of your noble profession and maybe you are now troubling your head on re-strategizing. The great techniques you suffered the stupidity all along are now exposed obviously. Some steps on writing for pro audience are flooded with light. I truthfully don’t see any reasons why you must be a plagiarist. You are satisfactory to receiving accolades for professionalism from facts you put down in your own words. If at all you must quote other writers’ work, see to it that you reference adequately and correctly.
Leave the giant words to the academe, as there is no need to tug it out of your bag of tricks. In reality, the majority at your job will generally need to consult a dictionary to realise what most of them mean – a significant time-waster that would be simply evaded. Likewise , flowery language that attempts to dress up your text is an irritation, more than anything. When I’m reading a business document, I need facts to fly off the page when I skim thru it, with each other statement simply serving to clear them up, not expound on them unnecessarily.
Fundamentally , when you are writing for business, target all you text on key facts.
Any statement not directly saying a crucial statistic should help to explain it in as succinct a way as possible. Rather than employing a dictionary to find more “impressive” words to express your ideas, employ pro writing software instead to wash up your sentence structures to guarantee it presents your thoughts in as clear a way as possible.
Business Card Marketing?
June 17, 2008My neighbor came over the other day showing off his new set of full colored FREE business cards that he had gotten. I don’t know what the big fuzz was about until he finally explained how he used business cards to land about $10K in new business every month.
I was amazed of what he told me. I never expected that such a small investment would pay off that fast. Well, I guess you need to be in consulting and charge $200 per hour, but the overall idea and the approach are just fascinating to me.
Are you using business cards for marketing or is more just a normal business tool for you?
Tiger wins
June 16, 2008I am a big golf fan. I was totally excited when Tiger was able to push to the top yesterday and then forcing a sudden death game today. It seems like even the hurting knee did not stop him from writing history. Job well done, Tiger Woods.

Soccer Systems of Play, Positional Dynamics and Team Formation 4-5-1
4-5-1
Defense;
4, defenders are usually arranged as outside left, inside left, inside right and outside right.
The most recent idea is to have them lined up in a banana shape with the middle of the curve closest to the goalkeeper and the outside defenders, the points, slightly ahead but behind the midfielders.
Some considered the flat back option but this means much more communication from the capitain of the defense usually one of the insiders.
The general idea is to have the two defenders attend to the attack coming in from their side.
This format requires a high degree of verbal communication in addition to sight and hand gestures.
With both of these options the opposite outside tucks in a little to mark the center of the field covering the goal and any incoming additional attacking opponents.
When the team has possession the defenders would then play wide to stretch out the other teams attackers.
This is also known as playing it around the back.
Sometimes the defenders can be lined up in a diamond shape. This is to utilize the last player back as a “sweeper” who clears the ball up the field and out to the other defenders and mid fielders.
This player is in constant communication with the goalkeeper and relays the message to the other defenders. This is because the goalkeepers can see the complete field from their vanatge point.
At times and in some cases too often this central defender will by-pass the midfield and play it up to the forwards. I say too often because this usually has the forwards out numbered by the opposing defenders.. However there are a few “power forwards” who could handle this situation, but most are unable too.
It does create a certain amount of excitment with this surprize attacking option.
The defender at the top of the diamond is considered the “stopper” whose duty is to challenge any attack or attacking play. They usually play from side to side rather than up and down the field.
This defender is involved in shutting down any play and play making.
These players really read the game well. They need to, or they would be doing all the running as the ball is in constant motion.
Midfield;
5, midfielders,
Two outside/wing players who dominate the flanks of the field. They also act as attackers creating many scoring opportunities for their teams.
These are hard working players and a usually super-fit. However sometimes after a few runs on the side these can switch with inside players for a rest.
If this is possible, the team can keep their opponents confused and always looking for changing plays and positions.
This type of positonal play can not be defended by a man-on-man team defense. This requires a good zone defense and a constantly communicative team.
The 2 inside players are usually defensive in their roles but will become part of the attack when their team has possession. They will generally use the central midfielder to create plays and control the tempo of the game.
Forward,
This team is usually confident of their lone striker.
The striker in this formation actually acts as a “post-up” player. This means that this striker at times plays with the opposing defense at his/her back.
This player will try and stretch the defense, will receive the ball to lay it back to the oncoming team-mates to close the ground/space that this striker has created.
The cycle continues until a good scoring opportunity has been formulated.
Occationally this striker will turn and attack the goal when the timing is right.
This is usually communicated to the strikers by their team-mates.
However a great striker will sense these situations based on the run of play and the opportunities that this striker has created.

Arizona Real Estate – A Good Buying Opportunity?
If you’re looking to move to a new state, Arizona real estate is definitely worth a look. Following is a primer of the state and the FSBO Arizona real estate market.
Phoenix
Phoenix is by far the largest city in Arizona and it is growing fast. The sixth largest city in the United States, Phoenix is the official and economic capital of Arizona. The city is growing at such a high rate that it has engulfed the accompanying towns of Scottsdale and Tempe. Phoenix has a perpetual new feeling to it, which leads to criticisms that it has no inherent culture or roots.
If you want to attend sporting events, Phoenix has a nice selection. The city has professional baseball, basketball and football teams. Phoenix even has a professional ice hockey team, the Phoenix Coyotes. Only in America could a city in the middle of the desert have an NHL team!
If you’re looking for warm weather, Phoenix is the place. During the summer, average temperatures are usually above the 100 degree mark without much humidity to speak of. Evenings can get cool during the winter, but day time temperatures remain in the 70’s.
Flagstaff
Unlike Phoenix, Flagstaff is a town that reeks of the more historic Wild West. Sitting on the famous Route 66, Flagstaff is a college town because of Arizona State University. The University, better known as “ASU”, has over 30,000 students who more or less dominate Flagstaff. If you like the feel of a college town, skip Phoenix and consider Flagstaff for your real estate needs.
Arizona Real Estate
Arizona real estate is very reasonably priced compared to other states. The average home price in Phoenix is in the low $300,000s. Arizona has, however, become a hot real estate market with home values appreciating over 25% in the last 12 months.
Arizona is a take it or leave it state because of the heat index. If you prefer hot, sunny days, Arizona real estate may be a very good investment.

To Be a Successful Real Estate Investor, You Must Know How to Negotiate
To become a successful real estate investor, it’s critical that you become a good negotiator. This is a lifelong learning curve, of course, but you can never go wrong by studying the negotiating process and improving your techniques.
The bottom line for successful negotiation is: get what you want by giving sellers what they want. There are some basic rules you’ll want to learn–and then follow religiously–when you enter into a negotiating situation.
The first one is that you can only negotiate with someone who is actually willing to negotiate. If a seller has no real motivation to sell a piece of property, there is little that you can do to increase your position in the process. If there is nothing they particularly need, there isn’t anything you can offer that will fill that need. If you run into sellers who are in this position, it may be best to simply walk away and move on to the next property.
Non-motivated sellers have dominated the real estate scene in 2005, and many homes have actually sold for above the listed prices, since there has been a glut of buyers who have bid prices up. In such a seller’s market, the chances of negotiating a genuine bargain decrease. However, 2006 looks as if the market will begin to shift, especially with rising interest rates, which will lessen the number of qualified buyers and may send housing price downward.
When you’re looking to fill the sellers’ needs, there are several questions you’ll want answers to, either from the sellers themselves or from other sources, such as real estate agents, escrow companies, or public records. For instance, you’ll want to know why the sellers are selling their home at that time? There are as many reasons as there are sellers, but until you know their individual circumstances, you won’t know how you can offer to help them toward their next move.
Although it will often be difficult to obtain from the sellers themselves, you can often find out what the original purchase price of the home was, which will give you a good feel for their equity position. This will give you leverage in your offering price, knowing how much the sellers will walk away with at closing.
Knowing the sellers’ time deadlines can also be critical to successfully negotiating a purchase of their home. The shorter the timeline, the more leverage you’ll have in putting together a successful purchase.
It’s also important to determine if the sellers have gotten a profession inspection done on the home. This can be vital in getting a feel for how much repair the home will need before you’ll be able to sell it at a profit. Don’t guess; it can be deadly to your bottom line! However, using these negotiating techniques can put you well on your way to becoming a successful real estate investor.

Soccer Drills Kids Will Love!
Basic soccer drills focus on skills and techniques young, beginning soccer players need to learn. Soccer drills vary according to age group and the following list of drills are designed for the younger or “newer” soccer player. Many soccer drills are miniature games in and of themselves. Making soccer drills and exercises fun during practice will improve player attendance, and will improve the overall attitude of your team.
Dribbling: “Dribble Across a Square”
Mark a square clearly on the ground that is approximately five to six adult steps in diameter. Each of the team players are given his/her own soccer ball and instructed to dribble across the square without touching anyone else’s ball but his/her own. Once the child gets across, he/she should dribble back. More and more players should gradually enter and cross the square. As in many soccer drills, repetition is the key. This is one of the soccer drills to help make children concentrate on the direction they are headed in and where other players are in relation to them, otherwise called “traffic”.
Ball Control: “Driving School”
You will need a lot of space (at least 20 square yards) to play this game and complete this drill. Similar to many soccer drills, every player has his/her own ball. By making sure everyone has their own ball during soccer drills, you will give them responsibility and they will be less likely to lose interest in watching others practice as they observe. In this drill, you (the coach) are the “driving instructor”. The players must do exactly what you say as you teach them how to drive and stop when you say. Any player that doesn’t do immediately as you say is out. Play for two minutes before restarting. This drill teaches ball control (dribbling, how to stop the ball with the foot, pullbacks, using the outside of each feet).
Description:
1. Go-start dribbling
2. Stop-stop the ball with a foot on top
3. Slow-slow down pace of dribbling
4. Speed Up-dribble faster
5. Turn Right-push the ball with the outside of the foot towards the right and dribble in that direction
6. Turn Left-follow the same instructions as Turn Right with left as the dribbling direction
7. Pull Back and Go the Other Way-use the bottom of the foot to pull the ball in a backwards direction, and then turn to dribble that way.
Ball Control: “Tick Tock”
Soccer drills should be made both fun and enjoyable, so children will stay interested in the game. Another one of the most popular soccer drills is this one, which also teaches ball control. This drill begins with everyone having a ball placed between the legs with the knees at a bent angle. When you say “Go” every play will drop the ball, and tap the ball between his/her feet from side to side like the tick tock of a clock. Every tap counts as one point. The first child to reach 20 points (or taps) is the winner.
These three drills are just a few examples of the many skills to teach young beginning soccer players some basic skills. These drills will also teach skills and help a child to completely comprehend the skills they learn.

Warm-up for Soccer Training and Games
To improve your soccer coaching skills, you’ve got to make sure your players give their bodies the chance to perform at their best. That means sensible warm-ups and cool-down, before and after a match or a soccer training session of any kind.
Soccer is a demanding physical game. So providing encouragement and instruction and making sure your players do adequate physical preparation is one of the most important responsibilities in soccer coaching.
The warm up is a process to increase awareness, improve co-ordination, improve elasticity and contractibility of muscles, and increase the efficiency of the respiratory and cardiovascular systems.
Soccer training and blood flow to muscles
In a body at rest, the blood flow to the muscles is comparatively low, and the majority of the small blood vessels (capillaries) supplying them are closed. When soccer training or playing begins, the blood flow in the exercising muscles increases markedly, as the capillaries open.
At rest, 15-20% of the blood flow supplies muscles, while after 10-12 minutes of all-round exercise, the percentage of blood flow supplying the muscles rises to 70-75%. A muscle can only achieve maximum performance when all its blood vessels are functional.Physical work increases the energy output and temperature of the muscle, this in turn leads to improved co-ordination with less likelihood of injury.
A warm-up therefore prepares the body by:
• raising muscle temperature towards an optimum level for performance
• enabling metabolic processes in cells to proceed at higher rates
• and allowing nerve messages to travel faster
Why warm-up is important in soccer coaching
Reasons for conducting a thorough warm-up prior to soccer training and games include the following:
• To increase blood flow to muscular tissue
• To increase muscle temperature
• To reduce muscle tightness
• To elevate body temperature
• To stimulate reflex activity related to balance and co-ordination
• To achieve full joint mobility in the specific joints involved in the activity
• To achieve full soft tissue extensibility – muscles, tendons, ligaments
• To enhance the functioning of the neuromuscular system
• To prepare the cardiovascular and respiratory systems
• To prepare the player psychologically for the coming activity
• To familiarize themselves with the environmental conditions
Warm-ups should be intense enough to increase the body temperature, the effects of which will ultimately wear off depending upon its intensity and specificity. The procedure should begin with movements of the large muscle groups, as these are the main areas to which blood is redistributed. These include the following areas:
• Back lower leg: gastrocnemius and soleus
• Front lower leg: peroneals (shin)
• Front thigh: quadriceps
• Back thigh: hamstrings
• Inner thigh: adductors
• Back: erector spinae
• Trunk: abdominal muscles
• Shoulders and chest: deltoids and pectorials
Specialized soccer exercises
After the general warm-up players can begin more specialized exercises including mobilization of the joints and dynamic movements of muscles, particularly of the lower extremity. The final stage of a warm-up concentrates on technique, and/or practicing a specific movement.
Whether warm-ups are performed with or without a ball depends entirely upon the philosophy adopted by the coach. This part of the soccer training session does provide an opportunity to work on specific technical skills in conjunction with mobility work and may also provide a greater mental and neurological stimulus for the players. In soccer coaching generally a lack or improper use of a warm-up and a cool-down is a risk factor for lower extremity overuse muscular injuries, especially during running.
